About the Role

The Pre-Authorization Service Consultant will be responsible for confirming benefits according to set protocols and funding rules, accurately obtaining and capturing information to confirm correct funding, and servicing key stakeholders telephonically and via other channels until the query has been resolved. They will also be required to keep up to date with product changes and benefits to ensure that all key stakeholders are accurately serviced.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Confirm benefits according to set protocols and funding rules
  • Accurately obtain and capture information to confirm correct funding
  • Servicing all key stakeholders telephonically and via other servicing channels until the query has been resolved

Requirements

  • Matric qualification
  • South African accredited clinical qualification
  • At least 6 months working experience in a customer services or clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
