Job Description

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) seeks a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in the Eastern Cape province. As a key member of our Provincial Office, you will provide exceptional reception and administrative services to support the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide switchboard services by screening incoming calls and transferring to relevant staff in the Provincial Office.
  2. Offer reception and administrative support to ensure seamless communication and document management.
  3. Handle face-to-face enquiries from visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  4. Maintain inventory related to the reception area and ensure it remains presentable at all times.
  5. Plan and coordinate support personnel diaries to optimize resource allocation.
  6. Coordinate provincial office fleet operations for efficient logistics management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Matric / Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification.
  • An Office Administration Certificate would be advantageous.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

Essential Competencies:

  1. Good command of English and effective communication skills.
  2. Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
