Senior Sales and Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at West Coast Personnel.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the corporate sales executive in all aspects of their day-to-day activities, including interacting with corporate clients, conducting presentations, and establishing relationships across various client bases.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to leverage their sales and business development expertise to drive growth and success in the building and tiling industry.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the corporate sales executive in managing corporate projects, including stock requirements, ex-factory ETA's, and project timelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, including presenting to them as needed.
- Source new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales revenue.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to coordinate stock requirements.
- Provide support to architectural clients, including sourcing samples and showroom visits.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the building or tiling industry.
- Tertiary certification in sales and customer service would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in flooring IT systems and internal procedures.
