Job Title: Social Media Specialist

At Sydsen Uthintane (Pty) Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies that drive engagement and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive social media plans that align with our brand's goals and objectives.
  • Content Creation and Management: Design and develop visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring consistency with our brand's voice and style.
  • Online Marketing and E-marketing Campaigns: Manage and execute online marketing campaigns to promote our products and services, driving traffic and customer engagement.
  • Web Development and Maintenance: Design and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, and UI design principles, ensuring web optimisation for search engines and a seamless user experience.
  • Marketing Automation and Analytics: Utilise automated marketing tools to streamline marketing efforts, manage campaigns, and generate reports on performance metrics.
  • Brand Management: Oversee all aspects of brand management, including brand strategy, visual identity, and messaging across all channels.
  • Campaign Evaluation and Management: Evaluate marketing campaigns and manage assets, ensuring campaigns meet objectives and performance targets.
  • Campaign Management: Execute successful campaign management, including developing, launching, and analysing campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Content Management Systems: Maintain Content Management Systems (CMS) and update website content to ensure brand consistency.
  • Desktop Publishing: Leverage Desktop Publishing tools to produce marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and online content, tailored to different audiences.
Requirements:
  • Proven Work Experience: Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist, Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and UI design principles, with experience in web development and management.
  • Marketing Automation: Familiarity with automated marketing tools, such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Mailchimp.
  • Brand Management: Demonstrated experience in brand management and campaign execution.
  • Web Optimisation: Understanding of web optimisation techniques and SEO best practices.
  • Content Management Systems: Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Joomla.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: A degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certification in Google Analytics, SEO, or Digital Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Additional Skills: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital advertising strategies, experience in video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
