Sales and Revenue Strategist: Driving Growth in Emerging Markets

About the Role
As Sales Head, you will be accountable for delivering budget and revenue forecasts for the South Africa division. You will develop and implement the overall strategy agreed upon by the Executive Team, ensuring the sustainability of revenue growth of our product offerings in LexisNexis South Africa. Key aspects of the role include:
- Developing revenue contingency plans to account for unforeseen variances in forecasts and ensuring delivery of targets.
- Generating and sustaining new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings for assigned territories.
- Implementing the annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa.
- Monitoring and pursuing opportunities in new markets and documenting progress on our CRM system.
- Compiling and delivering quotes, proposals, and tender documents.
- Researching and remaining abreast of international/local comparative trends and product developments.
- Developing marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the product/services in the local SA market and African markets.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.
Requirements
- Solid experience in a similar position.
- Experience in selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
- Experience in selling governance, risk, and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
- Able to incorporate LexisNexis values into every aspect of work.
- Good judgment and integrative thinking, with a strategic approach and results-focused attitude.
- Political savvy, patience, flexibility, and creativity.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
