We are a medium-sized company based in the Killarney Gardens area, specializing in the manufacture of concrete products. We have a vacancy for an Administrative and Accounting position starting from January 2025.

This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting and office/admin duties, as well as supporting our General Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones and handling customer inquiries
  • Assisting with supplier orders, general sales, and stock updates
  • Performing HR-related tasks, including staff support with PPE and organizing company training
  • Handling petty cash and cashbook processing

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. They must also have effective communication skills, both spoken and written.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar administrative and accounting position
  • QuickBooks or similar accounting package experience preferred
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in administrative software
  • Own transport essential (no public transport available)

Working hours are 07:30-17:00 (Monday to Friday). The estimated salary for this position is R220,000 - R280,000 per annum, depending on experience.
