The Role
We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead the success of our expansion in the South African market. As a Country Manager, you will be responsible for managing every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country, including launching and developing our services, negotiating with vendors and service providers, collaborating with local businesses, conducting extensive research, and synthesizing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers needed for the expansion of Truecaller's services
- Collaborate with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services
- Conduct extensive research regarding the market and learn everything possible
- Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development
- Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships
- Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
- Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity
- Mentor direct reports, especially regarding our values and vision
- Contribute to the overall global success of Truecaller
Your Background
- 10 years or more experience in management in an international business setting
- A Master's degree, MBA, or other relevant fields
- Background in enterprise sales and enterprise sales management
- Experience navigating complex partner ecosystems
- Savvy with financial metrics and management
- Project and program management skills to achieve KPIs and OKRs
- Strong communication skills
- Experience living overseas for an extended period
- Exceptionally well-organized and driven by success
