As a Strategic Commissioning Manager at First Clinical Ltd, you will play a crucial role in developing policy and procedure across assigned areas. This will involve creating briefings, commissioning plans, business strategies, and resource allocation frameworks. You will also propose, draft, implement, and interpret changes to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements.
In this position, you will suggest changes and make recommendations for the delivery of various projects. Your expertise will be essential in developing policy and service development for the service based on Public Health research and collaboration with the health and care system and local health authorities.
You will ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives, meeting quality standards and staying within budget. Additionally, you will oversee strategic planning for Directorate projects, identifying interdependencies, assessing potential impacts on the wider organisation, determining resource needs, and building in contingency plans.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be able to formulate long-term strategic plans for the recommissioning or decommissioning of the service based on a health review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop policy and procedure in assigned areas.
- Propose, draft, implement, and interpret changes to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements.
