Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused individual to supervise our Housekeeping Room Attendant Team. As a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that every room is checked and updated on the PMS system as per SOP, managing allocated room attendants to complete their duties, and maintaining public areas to the hotel's standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that every room is checked and updated on the PMS system as per SOP
  • Manage allocated room attendants to ensure that Room Attendant duties are completed and prioritized in accordance with arrival times
  • Check hourly on allocated section of public areas to ensure that it is cleaned and maintained to the Hotel standard
  • Ensure that the storerooms are laid out and kept to the Hotel standard
  • Ensure that all vacuum cleaners are checked and in full working order
  • Check that linen is in a good state of repair before being utilized in a room
  • Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported and follow-up that they are dealt with timeously
  • Assist with the monthly stock-take and the quarterly operating equipment count
  • Ensure thorough communication by holding a briefing with team every morning and afternoon
