The role also involves understanding and correctly using waste audit recording and reporting systems, effectively communicating with the Site Manager, and assuming the role of Site Manager on days off. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for identifying problems or challenges on operational performance and reporting to the Operations Manager/Site Manager. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree/diploma, minimum 2-3 years of experience in the waste industry, a valid driver's license, and excellent communication skills. Experience with writing reports and analyzing data is also essential. The successful candidate will be employed in accordance with the Employment Equity Act and will be required to submit training registers to HR on a weekly basis.
