About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Administration Team Leader to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Debt Instruments Reporting & Lifecycle activities, as well as cash management, swaps, FX's, CLOs, equity, and loan set up within the Capital Markets' space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Loan Admin Quality Controller to structure the intake process workflow and streamline TMF's delivery obligations
  • Ensure all daily client outputs are achieved with minimal issues
  • Orchestrate all BAU resources to achieve overall goals, ensuring any non-standard requirements are assessed and escalated
  • Task allocation, training, BAU staff supervision
  • Day-to-day point of contact for escalated queries and management of items from team members
  • Controls for Quality on all Team Deliverables & Investor Reporting
  • Monitor and track global level Debt Modifications, aged items & activity on Primary & Secondary capital markets
  • Meeting of SLA targets with internal constituents, and when failed, review and implement remedial actions; may collaborate at pier level with QC
  • Become a Super User of TMF's loan administration software (Sentry) with focus on all BAU activities
  • Team Lead will be visible with external client on BAU issues
  • Maintain a current level of industry knowledge and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as all applicable regulations
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures and have an ability to implement and monitor controls by enhancing efficiency

Key Experience

  • Sound knowledge of Private Debt and Broadly Syndicated Loans

  • Experience of other loan administration software (Sentry) is preferable, but not essential

About You

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience of providing Capital Markets / Funds services
  • Strong understanding of the Private Funds and Capital Markets (Loans) Industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum of degree in Finance/Accounting
