Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vacancy levels by assisting prospective tenants, facilitating viewings, and sourcing new tenants.
  • Oversee the rental collection process, including distributing statements, reviewing arrears reports, and implementing credit control procedures.
  • Manage the intake and exit process for new tenants, including welcoming, inducting, and completing take-on snag lists.
  • Review the performance of staff and service providers, including cleaners, maintenance personnel, and security.
  • Identify, recruit, and select suitable candidates for vacant positions, and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Manage the overall maintenance and security of the building, including investigating work needed, requesting work orders, and reporting on service provider performance.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports accurately and on time, and attend meetings with internal influencers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Grade 12 qualification.
  • At least 2 years of building management experience.
  • Experience in maintenance is required.
  • Strong people management skills, problem-solving ability, and a strong personality.
  • Must be willing to reside on the premises and be available outside operational hours if required.
