Cash Crusaders is a dynamic retail company seeking an experienced Retail Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our stores.
Job Summary
We are offering a competitive salary package of R750,000 per annum for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, quality, and profit and loss statements for designated areas or regions.
- Maximise new goods, second-hand, and SSB profit centres.
- Improve store performance by implementing merchandising standards and marketing initiatives.
- Manage sales versus budgets and monitor returns and discounts given.
- Co-ordinate stock availability for stores and monitor stock age and discontinued stock.
- Organise and participate in monthly stocktakes and results.
- Monitor and control damage and repair stock, company assets, and petty cash.
- Manage change of management and ensure security standards are adhered to within stores.
- Review store performance by analysing statistics and reports.
- Partner with employees for development and mentoring, formulating business performance improvement plans.
- Analyse expenses impacting profitability and financial statements to ensure profitability.
- Ensure customer expectations are met and review mystery shopper reports.
- Reinforce a culture of service-minded staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure repair turnaround, social media posts adhere to standards, and correct staff compliment in business.
- Facilitate employee training and development to ensure correct competency.
- Manage and enhance employee relations and satisfaction, human resources administration, remuneration, and rewards.
- Ensure all stores implement and adhere to company policies, procedures, system requirements, and SOPs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in a senior management role.
- Innovative and ambitious with a can-do attitude.
- Strong IT skills: PowerPoint, MI, Excel.
- Good presentation skills.
- Well-organised.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Possess great leadership skills.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Will to travel.
- Pass a polygraph.
