About This Role

The Senior Brand Sales Strategist will be the primary conduit between our corporate merchant team and customers, ensuring a seamless customer experience aligned to our company vision while effectively driving sales. This role owns its brand/categories of business and is responsible for ensuring product solutions, training, and scalable business to all sub GTMs by managing, mentoring, and developing a cross-functional sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintaining coordinated relationships with vendors, ensuring that vendor objectives and strategies are planned. Providing business intelligence to vendors, negotiating win-win deals, and formulating returns processes that safeguard partners' and our company's interests.
  • Customer Relations Management: Engaging with customers periodically, understanding their needs, and providing solutions. Addressing issues through engagement with relevant stakeholders.
  • Inventory Management: Planning inventory and sell-out, holding optimum inventory without blocking huge cash flows. Making decisions to move slowing-moving inventory at the right time, optimizing inventory and accounts receivable in the market.
  • Maintaining a right product mix to balance margins and demand.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing stakeholders, complying with statutory and vendor requirements, and cooperating with stakeholders while safeguarding organizational and customer interests.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and vendor requirements.
  • Increasing channel breadth and activating existing customers whom we have not billed.
  • Maintaining sales records, analyzing data, presenting findings to senior management, and acting on them.
  • Obtaining information about competition to inform proper planning.
  • Engaging OEMs on pricing supports, marketing activities, and ensuring appropriate claims are made.
  • Following up on product sales receivables and ensuring no overdue invoices.
  • Planning and executing marketing activities that facilitate sales.
  • Maintaining proper records of sales, inventory, sales receivables, credit limits, etc.
