Job Title: Account Manager

At Capital Recruit, we are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and act on client leads, conducting audits, and presenting proposals to drive sales growth.
  • Convert leads into sales, leveraging best practice sales methodology to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct client audits to provide quotations and SLA agreements, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and implement call cycles, processes, and routines to proactively engage and maintain client relationships.
  • Partner with clients strategically, demonstrating exceptional client and IT knowledge to provide business-relevant advice and support.
  • Anticipate client needs based on business growth and technical expertise, supporting their IT infrastructure development and ensuring business continuity.
  • Develop proposals for products and services, communicating how these technical value-added solutions will address client needs.
  • Work with the IT support team to ensure proactive support of client IT infrastructure and transitioning clients to stable environments.
  • Conduct business development and account management ethically, ensuring the integrity and reputation of the company and clients are not compromised.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Responsiveness, problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and building long-term relationships that lead to additional revenue.
  • Promoting client growth and bringing in long-term streams of revenue.
  • Maintaining accurate client records, tracking contract updates and renewals.
  • Working with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
  • Creating referenceable clients and customer lifetime value.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Matric qualification with a strong background in sales and account management within a technology environment.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and relationship management.
  • High-Level Competencies/ Capability Requirements:
    • IT hardware and software knowledge.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency.
    • Influencing and networking skills.
    • Sales and account management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
    • Problem-solving and customer service skills.
