Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for various HR-related tasks, including recruitment and onboarding, general HR administration, medical surveillance, NBCRFI compliance, employment equity, training and development, B-BBEE coordination, company hygiene, and supervision of cleaners.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Liaise with managers regarding vacancies to be filled.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes.
General HR Administration:
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and records.
  • Assist in collecting employee information as required.
  • Ensure compliance with document retention policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify trends in HR data and take appropriate action.
Medical Surveillance:
  • Establish and maintain a medical surveillance program.
  • Coordinate pre-employment, exit, and periodic medical examinations.
NBCRFI Compliance:
  • Liaise with NBCRFI and employees under its jurisdiction.
  • Submit monthly leave data and provide remittance advices.
Employment Equity:
  • Act as EE Manager, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Establish and manage an EE Committee.
Training and Development:
  • Act as Skills Development Facilitator, ensuring compliance with the Skills Development Act.
  • Maintain a Skills Development Committee.
B-BBEE Coordination:
  • Coordinate annual BEE audits and liaise with verification agencies.
Company Hygiene:
  • Ensure hygiene facilities are maintained.
Safety, Health, Environment & Quality:
  • Ensure adherence to SHEQ requirements.
Supervision of Cleaners:
  • Manage the performance of two cleaners.
  • Identify and coordinate training for cleaners.
