  • Design and implement the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) to ensure effective ESG risk management throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • Oversee environmental due diligence and permitting processes for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with international ESG standards.
  • Update and validate company policies for managing environmental and social impact, ensuring alignment with international standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on ESG issues, providing guidance and support to stakeholders as needed.
  • Develop and implement ESG requirements for inclusion in contracts with external partners, ensuring effective ESG risk management.
  • Oversee the implementation of ESG requirements, reviewing documentation, conducting site visits, and reviewing reports from external parties.
  • Assess external partners' ESG compliance, ensuring alignment with international standards.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, development studies, economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in CSR/ESG, CSI, Enterprise/Supplier Development, Sustainability, or Transformation.
  • Previous experience in green and environmental management in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in marketing and communications, specifically relating to sustainability and stakeholder reporting.
  • Experience in strategy, planning, and project management as relates to sustainability and economic development.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior-level stakeholders in the corporate sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise or supplier development, with a good understanding of drivers of success in capacity building of SMEs.
