The role of a SAP MM Systems Analyst involves developing business solutions using appropriate technology resources and proven methodologies. This position contributes to the development of procurement-Materials Management and Batch Management standard operating procedures as it relates to procurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into viable technical solutions.
  • Define and maintain technical requirements specification for approval.
  • Present technical specifications for approval by the line manager.
  • Ensure system data integrity is robust.
  • Collaborate with ABAP Developer to ensure the solution meets both functional and technical requirements.

Key Performance Areas

  • System Solution Design and Configuration.
  • System Changes According To The IT Change Methodology.
  • Ensures Knowledge And Skills Transfer To IT Stakeholders.
  • Provides User Support To Business.
  • Maintenance Of Security And Access Control.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree in IT or related Business Management field.
  • NQF rated Systems Analysis Certification would be an advantage.
  • Project management foundation certification would be an added advantage.
  • Module integration with SAP version upgrade or service or enhancement pack implementation experience.
  • Interaction with senior stakeholders (Internal and External).
