Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Professional Financial Administrator to join our team at Dante Personnel in Cape Town. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, monthly account reconciliations, and preparing weekly pay-runs.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in finance and accounting to take on new challenges and grow their career. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices for group expenditure according to company standards, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations for trade payable suppliers, maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare weekly pay-runs and load payments onto the bank, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process monthly credit card expenditure, verifying receipts and supplying necessary documentation.
  • Process monthly fleet card expenditure, verifying receipts and supplying necessary documentation.
  • Manage petty cash income and expenditure for the group, counting cash with administrative accountant.
  • Maintain daily cashbooks for 6-10 accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Onboard new suppliers according to company SOPs, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Complete administrative duties, including forms and supporting documents, and liaise with suppliers regarding queries.
  • Liaise internally with HODs regarding expenditure queries and provide full support to the Financial Accountant as needed.
Requirements
  • Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and Accounting as subjects.
  • Relevant tertiary education advantageous.
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient computer literacy and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
What We Offer
