Internal Audit Manager

At Intelligent Debt Management, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal control systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an annual audit plan based on risk assessment and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes across all departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Review internal audit reports and conduct independent monitoring of responses to internal audit recommendations.
- Perform evidence-based follow-up of internal audit recommendations to test recommended controls.
- Communicate audit findings to senior management and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor an internal team, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree and/or CPA/CIA certification preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in internal audit, with a background in both public accounting and industry preferred.
- Good working knowledge of the business and regulatory environment for financial services.
- Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, including the ability to manage and develop a team of auditors.
