We are seeking an experienced Public Health Researcher to join our team at AJ Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading health economic evaluations and econometric research, as well as lecturing in the Masters in Public Health (MPH) Programme.

Job Description:

  • Conduct health economic evaluations and econometric research.
  • Develop and manage research projects from inception to completion.
  • Identify novel research methods and ideas.
  • Attract research funding by identifying and applying for research grants.
  • Publish research in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
  • Present findings to stakeholders, the PRICELESS team, and other groups.
  • Teach on the Wits Masters in Public Health (MPH) Programme and supervise students.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Lead health economic evaluations and econometric research.
  • Manage research projects from inception to completion.
  • Have a PhD in Health Economics and 4 years post-doc experience.
  • Have minimum four years working experience in a research environment.
