At Saint-Gobain, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being of our employees. As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless administration of employee benefits across Sub-Saharan Africa.

About the Role

This position involves coordinating all company benefit administration activities across the region, including new employee onboarding, benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations. You will also oversee disability processes, maternity leave administration, and wellness programs for employees and new joiners.

In addition, you will be responsible for reconciling monthly medical scheme billings and other benefits with payroll, maintaining accurate personnel and benefits records in the HRIS system, and supporting the implementation of benefits across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all company benefit administration activities across the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of new employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Oversee disability processes and maternity leave administration.
  • Organize wellness programs and benefit presentations for employees and new joiners.
  • Maintain accurate personnel and benefits records in the HRIS system.
  • Support the implementation of benefits across the region, i.e., long service awards and year-end gift vouchers.

You will also be responsible for managing and reconciling invoicing for the Reward and Benefits team, ensuring accurate processing and timely payments. Additionally, you will administer and coordinate expat requirements in respect of housing, schools, and all other related benefits.
