Job Description

**About the Role**

Cre8work is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our team and drive sales. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, staff management, inventory control, and customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Sales and Profitability
    • Drive store sales to meet or exceed targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize sales growth.
  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee development.
  • Customer Experience
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, leading by example in customer interactions and handling customer complaints and issues professionally.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of store presentation and merchandising to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels are optimal and shrinkage is minimized to maximize sales and profitability.
    • Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of products to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting all operational targets and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
    • Oversee cash handling, banking, and financial reporting procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and retail regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Conduct regular health and safety checks and ensure staff are trained on safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

  1. Sales Growth
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting a positive shopping experience.
  • Implement promotional activities to drive sales and attract customers, maximizing sales growth and profitability.
Staff Development
  • Build and maintain a motivated, knowledgeable, and customer-focused team through ongoing coaching and support.
  • Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and career progression, promoting employee development and retention.
Customer Satisfaction
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and store standards, promoting customer loyalty and retention.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints effectively to improve the shopping experience and prevent customer loss.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure the store operates efficiently, with minimal downtime or disruptions, to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize waste, promoting operational efficiency and cost savings.

**Qualifications and Experience**

  • Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry, with a strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience in managing, training, and developing a team.
  • Proficient in inventory management, merchandising, and financial management, with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
