Claims Service Advisor

Aon is seeking a skilled Claims Service Advisor to join our Risk Solutions department. As a Claims Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing the claims process from registration to finalization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide claims services to clients, including claims administration and resolving specific claims issues.
- Manage Liability, Medmal, PI, and D&O type claims.
- Register new claims on relevant systems and maintain accurate records.
- Provide Client Managers with claims statistics and liaise with other claims personnel to identify and resolve claims issues.
- Deal with insurers and claims service providers to resolve issues, including the appointment of assessors and/or loss adjustors.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team, productivity targets, and service level agreements.
- Manage aggregates, including fund management, and provide monthly reporting to stakeholders.
- A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferable.
- LLB degree is advantageous (or studying towards it).
- Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act.
- Must be registered as a licentiate with the IISA (or studying towards).
- Excellent knowledge of policy wordings and claims administration.
- Advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in and with teams.
- Good communication skills.
