Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatch Operations Manager to join our team at BGA Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing computerized work order systems to determine job assignments and maintaining knowledge of the status and location of staff throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives requests for orders and consolidation from planning and executes orders as per consolidation.
- Prepares performance evaluations for dispatch staff.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Has a significant goal to maximize orders and improve delivery, as well as reducing delivery delays by diagnosing problems and providing effective customer support over the telephone.
- Prompt communication on short load or on balances before delivery leaves the company.
- Assists in stock take.
Requirements:
- Matric qualification.
- Dispatch experience.
- Certificate or Diploma in Production Management.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years dispatch experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good communication skills.
- Planning and control.
- Self-motivation.
- Managing the customer relationship.
