About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Specialist to join our team at Dimension Data.


As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with select companies to drive sales opportunities and revenue growth.


You will manage individual contributor Alliance/Partnership Specialists within the organization, define mutual goals and objectives, and build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance.


Key responsibilities include evangelizing company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships, providing financial analyses, long-range forecasting, and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships.


You will also establish metrics to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance, monitor competitor activity in accounts, and implement strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement.


Requirements:



  • Ensure that every alliance is orientated towards creating incremental value for Dimension Data, increasing long-term revenue.
  • Manage, maximize, and drive the relationship between Dimension Data and selected vendors and partners, exploring existing alliances to discover perspectives, information, and opportunities.
  • Market Dimension Data skills, propositions, and capabilities within selected partners, explore new partnerships, sell new business opportunities to existing partners, and develop and manage partner propositions.
  • Negotiate and secure the best value pricing for partner-supplied services and products.
  • Implement effective processes and tools to drive the adoption and benefit of partner programs, working with internal stakeholders to implement catalogs, operational processes, and terms and conditions for new partners.
  • Ensure partner contracts are signed to enable activation of the partner relationship, including service level agreements.
  • Manage and report on the performance of selected partners, ensuring accurate and evidential metrics, and taking remedial action against poor performance.

What You'll Need:



  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a senior-level manager in a large organization, with a strong understanding of project management and team leadership.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across all levels of the organization, with exceptional customer service skills and ability to provide support to clients.

The Package:


We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus medical aid, group life cover, funeral benefit, and minimum 18 days annual leave.
