We are seeking a Chief Financial Strategist to join our dynamic team at Tradelink, driving financial excellence across the organization.

About the Role:
  • Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring clarity and compliance with reporting standards.
  2. Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulatory standards.
  3. Balancesheet Reconciliation: Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  4. Audits: Assist with financial and tax audits, collaborating with auditors to facilitate efficient and successful audits.
  5. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
  6. Internal Controls: Assist in the development and enhancement of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  7. Budget Preparation and Monitoring: Support the preparation, review, and ongoing monitoring of budgets to align with strategic goals.
  8. Department Leadership: Provide direction and oversight to the finance department, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial accounting, with a solid understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Leadership: Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, a proactive approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
