About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). They will also have strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, as well as excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements that meet regulatory standards.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and other relevant regulatory standards, and assist with financial and tax audits to facilitate efficient and successful outcomes.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
  • Internal Controls: Assist in the development and enhancement of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Budget Preparation and Monitoring: Support the preparation, review, and ongoing monitoring of budgets to align with strategic goals.
  • Department Leadership: Provide direction and oversight to the finance department, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).
  • Proven experience in financial accounting, with a solid understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
