Chief Financial Strategist

National Leisure Transport Company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist. The position is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to executive management, enabling informed policy decisions that drive operational efficiency and ensure profitability.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting degree and have completed articles with SAICA. Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems and at least 5 years of experience as an accountant or management accountant are essential.

Duties:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts, reconcile General Ledger Accounts, assist with annual budget and forecasts, backup critical day-to-day processing, review weekly independent subcontractor payroll, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Governance and Controls: Assist the Finance Manager with external audits, ensure legislative and statutory requirements are met, maintain IFRS compliance, and adhere to internal controls to minimize risk and financial loss.

Key Requirements:

  • BCom/BCompt and SAICA Articles
  • Oracle or Similar ERP System
  • 5 Years experience as accountant/management accountant

Salary Range: R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience
