Job Description for Eskort Sales Representative

At Eskort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to achieve sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Complete weekly call cycles at relevant retail stores, visiting 10 to 15 stores per day.
  • Grow and maintain a customer database by building sound relationships and continuously seeking new opportunities.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Submit monthly reports on performance and competitors in our landscape.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Attend meetings as required at designated locations, meetings with managers and customers.
  • Collaborate with Clover and Vector Sales/Merchandisers to drive business performance.
  • Attend trade shows and marketing events as required.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • BCom Degree in Business, Marketing Communications, or a related field is required.
  • Diploma in Business, Marketing Communications, or a related field is required.
  • Proven work experience (minimum of two years) as a Sales Representative.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Able to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work efficiently, either on one's own or as part of a team, in a high-pressure environment.

  • Customer Relationships:
    • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
    • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
