About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Director to join our team at Crew Life at Sea. As a key member of our broadcast department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our onboard channels.

Job Summary

The Broadcast Director will be responsible for managing a team of broadcast technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that all broadcasts run smoothly. This includes creating and scheduling programming for our onboard channels, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to develop new and innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of broadcast technicians to ensure smooth operations
  • Create and schedule programming for onboard channels, including live events, movies, and TV shows
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain broadcast equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new programming ideas
  • Train and onboard new broadcast technicians
  • Monitor and analyze viewership data to inform programming decisions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the entertainment or cruise industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with broadcast equipment and software
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality programming
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
