**What will you do in this role?**
The Lead Creative is responsible for the quality, creativity and delivery of the projects they are
overseeing, along with managing creative work on their projects to fit budgets, and the client and
team satisfaction. This person has an understanding of all aspects of a content production process
but has a particular focus on the narrative aspect of Lobster's work.
The Lead Creative focuses on narrative quality by delivering scripts that are relevant and compelling
to learners, and which train efficiently and effectively. They are able to write strategically, in, and
according to, a project's Treatment.

- Inspire and guide writers to deliver excellent work within project guidelines and timelines
**Creativity and world-class work**:
- Interpret client briefs and develop and deliver strategic, boundary-pushing creative concepts that work to motivate learners and drive engagement
- Manage the creation of the project's Learning Strategy and Treatment
- Guide writers to maintain a singular voice aligned with the treatment
- Work with writers to develop engaging narratives around content and concept
- Create consistent, beautiful, effective work
- Develop work that fits clients needs elegantly and keeps Lobster Ink ahead of its competitors
**Output Creation and Management**:
- Drive the conceptualisation processes - a significant portion of your focus will be placed on conceptualising course and lesson narratives with the writing team
- Deliver best-practice Lobster scripts, and guide your team to deliver the same through reviewing, editing and collaborating on scripts
- Work with the project team to ensure that concept, narrative and clarity of learning is maintained across all elements of a course
- Work with the production team to exceed Lobster's and the client's standards
- Confidently present concepts, scripts, videos and other project assets to Creative Head and clients
**Skills / Competencies**

- Adept at working in an agile environment using new technology and platforms
- A proficient Mac user
**Minimum experience required**
**Compulsory**:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in content, broadcast, production or copywriting
- Experience leading a team in a creative environment
- Experience in writing in a variety of formats
**Beneficial**:
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of products (Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or After Effects)
- Practical, on-set experience as a director
- Experience in a visual medium as a creator or editor of photography or video
**Minimum qualifications/education**
- Degree or diploma in advertising, marketing, English, media or journalism.
