Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and implementing learning and development interventions aligned to individual and business objectives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in analyzing client learning and development needs, designing and developing appropriate training programs, and facilitating training sessions. You will work closely with line managers to identify learning and development needs and develop solutions to address these needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze client learning and development needs and develop recommendations for learning and development interventions
  • Design and develop training programs that meet the identified needs and are aligned to relevant registered unit standards, skills programs, and qualifications
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide feedback to learners
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a National Diploma in Nursing Science, Nursing Education & Nursing Management or an equivalent qualification, as well as professional registration as a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council. You should also have proficiency in MS Office at an intermediate level and 1 year of routine whole blood collection experience in a blood transfusion environment.
