Primary Responsibilities

Human Rights Program Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive human rights monitoring programs in each region.
  • Ensure these programs align with Brambles' values and standards, fostering a culture of respect and responsibility.

Salient Issue Assessments and Investigations

  • Conduct thorough salient issue assessments and human rights inspections, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead internal investigations and compliance risk assessments, driving corrective actions and promoting a culture of accountability.

Training and Awareness

  • Deliver impactful human rights training sessions, equipping stakeholders with knowledge and skills to promote compliance.
  • Design and execute awareness campaigns, raising visibility around human rights initiatives and expectations.

Supplier Engagement and Support

  • Collaborate with regional teams to support suppliers during SMETA audits, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to address identified issues.
  • Foster open communication with suppliers, promoting transparency and cooperation.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (law, paralegal studies, or international business).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in law or compliance-related roles.
  • Proven analytical, writing, and research capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Background in corporate compliance within a global organization.
  • Investigation and risk assessment experience.
  • Training delivery expertise.
