Financial Planning Specialist

The Recruitment Council is seeking a skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals toward achieving their financial goals through comprehensive financial planning and investment management.
Purpose of PositionThe Financial Planning Specialist assists clients in developing personalized financial plans by assessing their current financial situations, setting clear financial objectives, and formulating strategies to achieve them. This includes providing expert advice on investment management, retirement planning, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning: Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients goals and analyze their current financial status, creating customized financial plans to meet those goals.
- Investment Management: Recommend appropriate investment strategies and products based on clients'' risk tolerance and financial objectives. Monitor and manage investment portfolios to optimize performance.
- Retirement Planning: Help clients estimate their retirement needs and devise strategies to accumulate sufficient funds for a comfortable retirement.
- Tax Planning: Offer guidance on tax-efficient investment strategies and identify methods to reduce tax liabilities.
- Client Education: Enhance clients'' financial literacy by educating them on financial concepts, investment options, and market trends.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and maintain appropriate fit and proper requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and maintaining regular communication.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on the latest market trends and financial products to provide informed advice.
- Continual Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training to keep abreast of industry changes and new financial planning strategies.
- Networking and Business Development: Expand a network of potential clients and industry contacts to grow the client base.
- Ethical Conduct: Uphold the highest ethical standards, prioritizing clients'' interests in all financial interactions and recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, PowerPoint)

- A minimum of 5 years in a financial advisory role.
- A bachelors degree in financial planning or a similar field.
- Completion of Regulatory Examination 5 for representatives.
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation is a valuable addition.
