Job Title: Corporate Secretary

The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive support to the Board Committees, Management Committees, and Subsidiary Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the administration and maintenance of the IDC's and subsidiaries' statutory books and records.
  • Provide committee members with guidance on their duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with the IDC's corporate governance framework.
  • Ensure that services provided to clients meet quality standards.
  • Conduct effective research and prepare management reports.
  • Formulate committee agendas in conjunction with the Group Company Secretary and Committee chairperson.
Requirements:
  • Any of the following qualifications: CIS; B Com (Law); BA (Law) or, LLB.
  • A post-graduate degree (LLM/MBA/MBL) will be an added advantage.
  • Corporate Governance Institute of Southern Africa (CGISA).
Work Experience:
  • 5 – 8 years of Corporate Secretary experience.
