Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients and Digital Account Managers to understand key business and marketing objectives and challenges.
  2. Plan, implement, and manage the gathering and extraction of meaningful data to drive key digital marketing strategy decisions.
  3. Develop clear research processes and methodologies to extract, test, and benchmark data for specific clients and document findings and recommendations into presentable formats.
  4. Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal strategists.
  5. Identify potential trends and opportunities to establish a strong and highly competitive digital presence across relevant platforms and markets.
  6. Collate research into industry market intelligence and create a knowledge base of key insights to establish the company as a thought leader in digital marketing trends.
  7. Work with Search Marketing, Social Media, Content Marketing, and Usability experts to ensure effective execution of digital marketing strategies across all channels.
  8. Manage a team of Digital Researchers.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years' experience in research, with online research being essential and including the use of Google AdWords, Google Trends, Social Media Insights, and related tools.
  2. Strong business or entrepreneurial acumen and ability to interact with and present to clients at an executive level.
  3. Previous experience in market research, marketing, or management consulting is advantageous, with specific experience as a digital marketing researcher being highly beneficial.
  4. Strong analytical mind and ability to work with data to drive business and marketing decisions.
  5. Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to give clear briefs and instructions to a team of researchers.
