About the Job:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand our client base and increase revenue.
  • Source qualified leads through various channels, including email, phone, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prospecting and Lead Generation
  • Research prospective clients within the target market, identifying potential leads and qualifying them based on their business needs and readiness to engage.

Pipeline Management and Deal Closure


  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, tracking interactions and managing pipeline stages to ensure accuracy in sales forecasting.
  • Close deals by negotiating with clients, addressing objections, and coordinating with internal teams to finalize agreements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to share customer insights and feedback, informing product enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of targeted marketing campaigns and support go-to-market strategies.

Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking


  • Provide regular reports on key performance metrics, such as lead-to-close conversion rates and revenue growth.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology companies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SaaS products and understanding of cloud-based solutions.
  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in using CRM tools like Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and drive results in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the South African B2B market and the challenges faced by businesses within the region.
