Overview

Helen Anderson Counselling Psychologist is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Practice Manager/Receptionist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all administrative duties on behalf of 3 Psychologists, including billing management, dealing with medical aids, making bookings for patient appointments, and welcoming patients into the reception area.

They must have excellent people skills, be an effective organiser, and possess good mathematical abilities. A minimum education of National Senior Certificate and experience in an administrative field are preferable.

Job Description

  • Handle all administrative duties on behalf of 3 Psychologists.
  • Manage billing and outstanding debt follow-ups.
  • Deal with medical aids regarding administrative and billing issues.
  • Make bookings for patient appointments.
  • Welcome patients into the reception area.
  • Orient new patients regarding forms to be completed.
  • Keep an orderly filing system.
  • Deal with practice emails and general administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum education of National Senior Certificate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good mathematical abilities.
  • Able to work independently and problem-solve.
  • Dynamic and efficient with excellent people skills.
  • Effective organiser with ability to prioritise tasks.
