Business Intelligence Analyst: Human Capital Insights

The Jean Fowlds Consultancy is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Human Capital team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and manage data from various Human Capital systems, including employee databases, performance management systems, and recruitment platforms.
  • Analyze Human Capital data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, using statistical techniques, data visualization tools, and predictive analytics.
  • Create reports and dashboards to present Human Capital metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, such as senior management or department heads.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives based on data-driven insights, such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Human Capital processes and enhance efficiency through data analysis and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Human Capital practices and policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements by monitoring data for compliance issues and providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards and protocols to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of Human Capital data.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to Human Capital colleagues, both verbally and through written reports and presentations.
  • Generate and consolidate reports on Human Capital metrics monthly and as and when required for board, and board sub-committees.
  • Assist payroll model systems.
  • BEE Scorecard tracking and verification.
  • HR legal and compliance submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Ability to clean, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
  • Ability to create clear and informative visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards.
  • Understanding of Human Capital processes, policies, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and root causes within Human Capital data and provide actionable recommendations and improvement.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability of findings.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively.

Competencies:

  • Relevant HR/IT qualification.
  • + 5 Years work experience in a Retail/Manufacturing environment.
