Job Description

The Building Company is seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk to join their team in a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general administration duties, including creditors, and HR administration tasks as required.
  • Assist with relief reception and cashier duties in a professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate filing of customer invoices (debtors account) in a timely manner.
  • Assist with cycle counting and inventory auditing procedures.
  • Organize and consolidate month-end statements for posting.
  • Tabulate and post data in record books.
  • Compile and maintain records of business transactions and office activities.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including data copying and record compilation.
  • Ensure that all documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Assist with skills development and employment equity reporting.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and records.
  • Administer leave forms and WCA claims.
  • Issue and document disciplinary action administration.
  • Assist with recruitment administration and job advertising.
  • Capture GRNs/CVRs accurately into the system.
  • Prepare, issue, and send receipts, bills, policies, statements, and checks.
  • Match GRNs to invoices and process CVRs efficiently.
  • Reconcile creditors to supplier statements in a timely manner.
  • Investigate variances and provide outcomes to management.
  • Resolve queries with suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Filing of unpaid matched GRN/delivery note/order/buy out details.


Requirements:
  • Grade 12 Business Management
  • N4 - N6 Human Resources
  • 3 years of general administration duties
