Role Description

The Personal Assistant to the Senior Director DLTE plays a critical role in supporting the Senior Director and their team. This includes managing the Senior Director's diary and schedule, as well as coordinating various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Providing reception and administrative support to the Senior Director;
  2. Assisting with the administration of meetings, e.g., agenda, minutes, actions;
  3. Managing the Senior Director's diary and schedule;
  4. Ensuring the smooth operation of the office through effective liaison with internal and external service providers.

Requirements:

  • At least an NQF level 6 administration or secretarial qualification;
  • Five years' relevant experience in administrative support at managerial level;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and another official South African language;
  • Able to liaise with individuals at management and other levels;
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain accuracy and efficiency;
  • High-level organisational abilities;
  • Demonstrable initiative in the performance of required tasks.
