Global Life Science Business Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated, full-time Global Life Science Business Developer to help build a truly global life science brand. As a remote colleague, you will work at developing strong relationships in the life science research market to grow new business.
The role is responsible for supporting the strategic development and delivery of the annual sales plan, including delivering agreed sales targets and KPIs. You will work closely with our sales manager to drive business growth and expansion.
A strong understanding of the life science industry and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. You should be comfortable working remotely within the European (Ireland) time zone and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the life science research market.
- Generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth through effective account management and prospecting.
- Collaborating with the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver business results.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the life science industry and products, with the ability to effectively communicate their value to customers.
In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with:
- A BA/BSc/MSc or PhD in Science.
- Prior experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or similar role, preferably in the life science industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in generating new accounts within the life science market.
