Job Summary:

The Golf Director at BGA Recruitment is responsible for leading the golf aspect of the member and guest experience. This role requires a strong leader who can guide the golf operations team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Management:
  • Oversee the overall management of the golf operations, ensuring all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Organize and facilitate regular staff meetings to keep team members informed and engaged.
  • Conduct quarterly performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Organisation & Controls:
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the golf operations team, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement controls to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Plan and coordinate the day-to-day running of the golf operations team.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and kept in good condition.
  • Implement and monitor controls to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all estate property assigned to the golf operations team.
  • Continuously improve service levels and maintain high standards.

Requirements:
