Business Development Specialist

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation: Source sufficient lead-generating opportunities to ensure targets are met.
- Client Engagement: Contact clients to conduct a needs analysis and offer professional advice.
- Reporting and Analysis: Complete weekly reports reflecting leads, quotes, sales, source of the leads, average premium, total premium, and any other pertinent information.
- Product Knowledge: Keep up to date and fully informed on product comparisons with opposition products.
- Compliance: Be compliant with all Insurance regulations, professional guidelines, and ethics.
- Professional Development: Maintain appropriate skills and knowledge to provide specialist, professional advice in all relevant business areas.
- Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 and a full recognized qualification as per the FSCA qualification list.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in selling short-term insurance.
- Regulatory Exams: FAIS Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5) and 12 CPD (Continuous Professional Development) points.
- Personal Requirements: Must have own vehicle and license.
