About the Job
NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Cross Technology Solutions Expert to join our team. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for pursuing and landing qualified leads, identifying new opportunities, and developing solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain subject matter expertise in multiple domains or solutions sets.
- Spearhead the closure of sales based on your knowledge of multiple technology domains.
- Address technical conceptual challenges during the sales process.
- Develop and maintain a high level of relevant product and service knowledge to have meaningful conversations with potential and existing clients.
- Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategy, and use this information to penetrate new markets.
- Collaborate with technology vendors to gain a deep understanding of their solutions and how they can contribute to our own solutions set.
- Foster relationships with clients to understand their business goals and articulate the solution/deliverables required, rather than just selling products.
- Prepare and conduct client workshops and presentations, establish relationships with multiple client stakeholders, and secure deals to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Use your understanding of the client's business and depth of knowledge on technology-specific solutions to personalize recommendations aligned with the client's needs.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within accounts, working with sales teams to drive them to closure.
- Pursue and land qualified leads identified by client managers and other lead generation sources.
- Implement sales strategies and support the wider territory sales plan, defining your own plan for the solution to ensure sales target achievement.
- Develop and maintain clear account plans for appropriate clients and targets.
- Identify, assess, and highlight client risks that could harm their organization and credibility.
- Partner with internal teams to track and manage the scope of work and proposals.
- Utilize sales methodologies and tools, such as opportunity plans and account plans, to drive the sales process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
- Demonstrated success in developing and nurturing meaningful customer relationships up to senior leadership levels.
- Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and proficiency in team selling approaches.
- In-depth knowledge of competitors and ability to apply successful sales strategies.
- Capacity to define sales strategies and possess sales solution capabilities.
- Client-centric approach, with the ability to understand customer problems and find best-fit solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to short-term missions or urgent deadlines.
- Negotiation skills to craft solutions beneficial to customers, partners, and the organization overall.
- A close attention to maintaining up-to-date, accurate sales forecasts and close plans.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology/systems or sales or a related field.
- SPIN and/or Solution Selling certification(s) preferred.
- Relevant technology and vendor certification(s) preferred.
