We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the position of Postgraduate Motion Picture Instructor at AFDA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching postgraduate level courses in scriptwriting, producing, and directing, as well as overseeing the Research Course. They will work closely with colleagues to develop lesson plans, conduct research, and ensure students receive high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Teaching postgraduate level courses in the Discipline of Motion Picture.
- Developing and implementing curriculum changes.
- Conducting research to develop up-to-date lesson plans and lecture content.
- Facilitating student collaboration and communication.
- Evaluating student performance in formative and summative assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MA degree in Motion Picture/Film or equivalent.
- Experience in the tertiary education sector/Academia, Creative Writing, English, or equivalent field.
- Previous lecturing experience or industry experience.
- Track record of 5-10 years in the television commercial, series, feature film, or documentary industry.
