Marketing Specialist Role in Cape Town

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Initiate International in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing and wants to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving innovative MarTech projects, developing and implementing effective digital marketing campaigns, and managing creative briefs from start to finish. You will work closely with external vendors and agencies to ensure that campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities

  • MarTech Project Management: Take ownership of cutting-edge marketing tools like analytics dashboards and campaign management systems, using data to power high-impact decisions.
  • Digital Campaign Development: Drive exciting digital campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring they align perfectly with bold marketing goals.
  • Creative Brief Management: Craft imaginative, on-point creative briefs for digital campaigns that wow audiences – across online ads, social media, and dynamic website content.
  • Traffic Team Collaboration: Coordinate with traffic teams and top-tier creative agencies to deliver eye-catching content on time and in line with your vision.
  • Acquisition Approval Process: Be the mastermind behind a seamless acquisition approval process through WCRGB, ensuring campaigns are fast-tracked while staying compliant.
  • Tracking Link Management: Own the creation and management of tracking links across all acquisition channels, ensuring attribution and performance tracking are flawless.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced digital marketing or MarTech environment, preferably within iGaming or e-commerce.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of PPC, SEO, Social Media, and Affiliate channels, with an eye for using them to crush customer acquisition targets.
  • Tools: Proficiency with digital tools like Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and campaign management software.
