A new opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and driven individuals to join our team at SPILASTYLE CC as a Junior Parts Sales Consultant in Selby.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a passion for automotive parts to fill a dynamic role. As a Junior Parts Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and identifying new sales prospects and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans/schedules to identify specific targets and execute to meet or exceed sales/gross profit budget.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Coordinate with company staff to accomplish work required to close sales and maintain quality and consistency of service.
  • Identify new sales prospects and develop business.
  • Follow up new leads and referrals resulting from field/marketing activity.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Acquire, maintain and develop product knowledge.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Project a position image of company products and services.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities.
  • Adhere to company policies/instructions on pricing, assigned customer, arrear sales reconciliation, and warranty policy.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and good achievement reports.
  • Maintain and safekeep office equipment, company vehicles (where assigned), and other sales and marketing materials.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered from market to appropriate company staff.
  • Gather and report competitive activities, price/product positioning, and change in customer preferences/demands to appropriate company staff.
  • Develop and implement special sales to reduce slow-moving and non-moving stock.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by Management/Supervisor.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well-presented, and have a minimum of 1 year's car spares sales experience. You should also be able to work in a computerized environment, be target-driven, and a team player. Additionally, having your own transport is essential.

Salary: R7,000 - R8,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
