About the Role:
The Specialist HR role is a critical position within the Salt Employee Benefits team, responsible for providing exceptional support to employees and management alike. As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will be the driving force behind maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Manage HR documents, including employment records and onboarding guides, to ensure seamless employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Update internal databases to reflect changes in employee information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work environment, aligned with the company's values and goals.
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, including turnover rates and employee engagement, to inform business decisions.
- Participate in HR projects, such as the CSI initiative, to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in an HR environment, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, including VIP/SAGE, is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
